What makes IntelliSites different
from other Albany web design firms?
We're
not just computer nerds and artists - we're people who know about
getting business - for you.
We have a mission.
Yes, we have a mission statement. Doesn't
everyone? Read on, and don't fall asleep on us, now!
Our
business is to help your
business business
grow
through Internet marketing and technology.
(That wasn't too bad, was it?)
We have history.
Since 2001, we've created or maintained
nearly 400 web sites for businesses of all sizes. While
we're based in Albany, NY, a good part of our business comes
from around the United States. Currently, we've got clients
in 30 different states.
We Know what it takes.
We're not just one guy
working for the state government doing this on the side from
his basement! We have a full staff of graphics designers,
creative writers, developers, and search engine marketers.
Web site development and database
development is what we do!
So what makes us different than everyone else?
1. Smart, Clean Solutions:
Look on the Internet. What do you see?
Long download times
Poor informational architecture
Confusing site navigation
Uninspired design
We approach a site design thinking, "Okay, I'm
a potential client, I've never been here and I probably
won't come back
if this site doesn't help me." That means creating
snappy graphics that have been optimized for fast downloads. It also means creating a structure to the site
that's easy to
understand while moving around seamlessly - not deeper and
deeper. And finally, it means creating a site that's
clear and concise in its look, which fits with your marketing
effort.
2. Technologically
Sound Sites:
You'd be surprised at how many different
components can be included in a web site: ecommerce, Flash,
calculators, databases, search engines, dynamically driven
content, and much, much more. Who cares? We'd like to hear
what you want your site to do for your client or prospect.
It's
likely we've
got an intriguing solution that will maximize the web's
value to your project.
3. Intelligent
Project Management:
This is a big difference from most of our
competitors. You want a site to be effective, but you also
need it done in a timely manner. Obvious, right? You'd think
so, but if you've ever had a hand in designing a site, ask
yourself these questions as they related to the timeline
of your web development:
Do you know where you are
on the project timeline? What's
next in the process? Who's doing it? How will you review
what's
going on with your site? Where's Waldo?
All essential
questions (OK, that last one was to see if you were
still awake after our mission statement). Our philosophy
is that you should know what's
going on at all times, and we
are constantly communicating with you about your
site, the expectations, and the delivery dates. In
fact, we put it in writing up front in our agreement!
4. Effective Training:
You may want to understand how your web site
works. At the very least, in order to be successful with
your site, you must be able to understand what is in the
site, how it flows with your business process, and when,
how and who will update it. Our background as trainers makes
us uniquely qualified to instruct you how to use your site
effectively, to update and improve your site.
5. The Price:
Why did we save this one until last? Because
if you act now, we'll throw in this spectacular Ginzu knife
site at no charge!
.... OK, not really. But we know what's
important to most of you... you want the best site, for
the least cost. If you're smart (and you MUST be - you
read all the way down this page without having to take a
break to watch Oprah, for crying out loud!), you
know that the lowest price
is never the best value. How many of you are driving around
in a Yugo?
We aren't the cheapest site web development
firm. We certainly aren't the most expensive one, either.
Our sites may start about $2,000. But
even with those small sites, we've been very effective
at getting those clients business.
